Bathroom Zoom Meeting

Bathroom Zoom Meeting, known as Conferencing in so many places, is an audio-video business practice in which two or more persons in a seated room can utilize high definition (HD, 1,920 pixels) television video to communicate and share information. The technology has become popular over the past decade, and is being utilized by more businesses and by ordinary consumers, as well. Today, it is easy for the entire family – or your friends and colleagues – to take advantage of this amazing technology. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection, and the rest will be taken care of by a simple Web browser.

When you join a conference, you can watch and listen to the video feeds on your computer screen, and share the information with those in the room who are interested. For example, if Bob is having a bathroom meeting with Bob and Jill, they can view the video feed on the computer, see who is talking, and choose to listen to the audio conference – or even video conference, if they are more comfortable using it. In order for this all to work, there must be at least one person in each “room,” or conference. This is usually represented by a small icon on the computer – typically a circle that says “you are in a room.” This icon is small enough that you don’t have to click very close to anyone to see who is actually present in the “room,” and you can move about as easily as clicking your mouse. Even when the web cam is switched on, you can still move around within the conference room.

There are many uses for this type of conferencing, but perhaps the most common is to have a group meeting in the bathroom – such as for a tutorial, or to discuss an issue at work. As long as everyone understands that the Internet and computer technologies are not invasive, there should be little to no problem. Even if there are problems, they are easily corrected. After all, the goal is to make the entire bathroom experience as easy to use as possible. If there is a lot of back and forth, it probably will be more of a hassle than it’s worth!
